GSNY Home Care Services, Inc. is dedicated and committed to meeting high ethical standards and compliance with all applicable Federal, State and local laws and regulations and all the requirements of Federal and State health care programs (including Medicare and Medicaid) in all facets of its corporate activity. To assure that GSNY's operations are being conducted in compliance with applicable laws and the highest ethical standards, GSNY has developed and established a comprehensive Corporate Compliance Program under the direction and supervision of a Chief Compliance Officer. A Compliance Committee has been established to oversee the implementation and operation of the Program.

Our Compliance Program contains the following eight (8) core elements:

Written Policies and Procedures that describe compliance expectations as embodied in a code of Conduct and provide guidance to employees on dealing with compliance issues including how to report.

Designation of Compliance Officer – an employee vested with responsibility for the day to-day operation of the compliance program.

Training and Education of all affected individuals on compliance issues, expectations and the compliance program.

Communication Line to the Compliance Officer that is accessible to all affected individuals to allow compliance issues to be reported.

Disciplinary Policies to encourage good faith participation in the compliance program.

System for Routine Identification of Compliance Risk Areas and Non-Compliance.

System for Responding to Compliance Issues when raised, for investigating and correcting problems.

Policy of Non-Intimidation and Non-Retaliation for good faith participation in the compliance program.

 CODE OF CONDUCT

GSNY Home Care Services, Inc.’s Code of Conduct encompasses all that we do. The Code of Conduct is an integral part of all activities of GSNY, and supports our mission to deliver experience grounded services to our clients to assist them to lead dignified and independent lives in the comfort and safety of their homes, and continuously improve the services provided to our program participants. We are committed to preventing the occurrence of unethical or unlawful behavior, stopping such behavior as soon as possible after discovery, and to discipline employees who violate the Code, including employees who neglect to report a violation. GSNY Home Care Services, Inc. believes that the application of ethical principles is fundamental to the provision of quality care services to clients.

 

GSNY Home Care Services, Inc. maintains the highest standards of honesty and integrity throughout any representation of itself to the general public.  All marketing and advertising is conducted in an ethical manner, with no misrepresentation of the services that the Agency will render.

GSNY’s Code of Conduct is a compilation of the following ethical and legal behavior standards:

  1. Comply with applicable laws, regulations, codes, and agency policies and procedures

  2. Deliver Quality Service

  3. Respect and protect the confidentiality of client and agency information

  4. Conflict of interest

  5. Maintain accurate documentation, billing, coding, and reporting procedures and practices, both operational and financial

  6. Respect and deal honestly and fairly with all individuals

  7. Non-discrimination

  8. Safeguard GSNY’s assets and the property of those with whom we do business

GSNY Home Care Services, Inc., its staff, employees, consultants, Board members, volunteers and affiliates are all committed to performing their responsibilities according to ethical and legal standards with honesty, integrity, fairness, good faith and respect for others and the law.
